What is Good Legs?

Good Legs is a strength and recovery app in development for cyclists and runners. Keep your endurance plan: the app is designed to build gym sessions around it and explain changes after your check-ins. It will also include yoga, meditation, flexibility and private team stories. An iPhone beta is planned for January 2027. Join the early-access list for invitations.

The gym belongs in the same week.

Your intervals, long rides and rest days already have their place. Adding strength work should account for those sessions.

Good Legs is being built to use your training block, available days and completed strength sessions when planning your gym work.

What will the app do?

The planned beta has four main features:

  • Strength planning. Gym sessions are planned around your current endurance training block.
  • Morning check-ins. Tell us how you feel, then see any change to your strength session and its reason.
  • Guided recovery. Yoga, meditation and flexibility sessions are available alongside your strength plan.
  • Private team stories. Share completed sessions and progress with your teammates.

Your endurance plan stays yours. Good Legs builds the strength and recovery work around it.

Try the scheduling idea now.

The free scheduler lets you explore where gym sessions might fit around your rides. It is a simple calendar tool: it does not choose your exercises or loads, measure recovery or reproduce the full app.

Can strength training help cyclists?

A review of heavy strength training in cyclists, published online in 2025 and in a 2026 journal issue, found improvements in selected performance measures. The authors rated the evidence as low certainty. It does not establish one best weekly schedule or guarantee the same result for every rider. Read the review.

We’re building Good Legs to help you fit strength work around your riding and understand why a session has been planned or changed.
